Today I wanted to share with you a new journey I am on. I am hoping that this blog will help at least one of you, who like me struggle with being overweight. I am going to try my best to make this as short as possible, while still being very informative. First things first, I want to tell you a little bit about myself, my situation, and what my daily life WAS like. As you may know I am a mom of 2 boys ages 5, and 4. And with being a mom comes lots of changes. Changes like: stretch marks, weight gain, health issues that weren’t present before being pregnant, and lastly always putting your kids first which ultimately means putting yourself last. My Normal day consisted of extremely bad food choices, purely because I thought I didn’t have the time. The first thing I would do upon waking, is open the fridge and grab a coke (I hate coffee, lol). I would make breakfast, wake the kids up, do chores, get them dressed, and hurry them off to school. Most mornings I would just run by McDonalds, and grab a quick breakfast before I started my errands. Ending my errand run with a large cherry, vanilla, Dr. Pepper from Sonic. My daily cokes have become an addiction before I even knew what was happening to me. Most days I would be so busy running errands, cleaning, cooking, and whatnot I would forget to even eat lunch. By this point I already cracked open another can of coke, and settled down for a nice 2 -3 hour nap. After my nap, I’m off to pick the kids up from school, homework, and meal preparations before Dad comes home. By the end of the day I was exhausted, and wanted nothing more than a coke and some good ole’ R&R. So lets recap: 1 coke, McDonalds breakfast, large coke, coke, & coke. Yeah! that was what I have been living off of for the last 4 years! That is INSANE. 3 weeks ago I was looking in the mirror and decided enough was enough! It’s time I started taking care of myself! A friend of mine was selling some Dietary supplements called Truvision Health. She was posting pictures and making posts about how much her, and her family were loosing weight. In the back of my mind I knew this was a long shot, but I decided to try it.
Now lets talk about the product first before I get into my actual review and progress. Truvision Health makes a ton of products. The supplements I am taking is called Tru Weight & Energy + TruFix combo. It is 2 pills you take, twice a day. The Green pill (Tru Weight & Energy) is for energy, and to promote weight loss by attacking your fatcells and increasing your metabolism. This was a big red flag for me. I suffer with anxiety, and just the thought of an energy pill drove me crazy. My friend assured me that I would not be jittery, and that the energy was barely noticeable. The blue pill (TruFix) is designed to clean out your Blood Chemistry to help detox you and promote better health. You can head over to the website to learn more about the product itself here.
Now onto the Good stuff:
Day 1 (Saturday): (Starting weight 199 ibs) I took my first set of pills around 6:30 AM, along with a bottle of water, and a banana for breakfast. About 30 minutes later, without even realizing it I was cleaning house like NOBODIES business. I had to take a second to step back and evaluate what was happening. My usual dragging ass cleaning was done within an hour. Drinking at least half your body weight in water is highly encouraged when taking this medicine. Not only should you drink this much water on this medication, but in life general. So Here we are at noon, with NO coke. Like seriously… NO COKE. I couldn’t believe it myself. Once I realized it, you know at that point I HAD to have one, although i know it wasn’t necessary. Next up Lunch, something I would normally never even think about having. I made myself a simple salad, a handful of almonds, and a side scoop of peanut butter to increase my protein intake. Maybe not the most healthiest of lunches, but it was definitely a step up for me. Around 3 O’clock I took my second dose and began my afternoon chores. At this point I had drank around 4 bottles of water. Not as much as I need, but considering I never drink water, I was proud of myself. Ah, and lets not forget that you will urinate like theres no tomorrow. A side effect of the Trufix pill detoxing you. Now I know what your thinking. Of course your urinating, your going to start loosing your water weight, and then once you stop taking the pills your going to blow up like a damn ballon. I was thinking the exact same thing! But what the hell I already bought a 7 day sample, I might as well finish it. I ate supper with my family, and slept like a baby!
Days 2-7: Most days were just like the first, although I never felt as much energy as I did the first day. And finally Day 7 when I decided to weight myself. I stepped on that scale hoping for a miracle, but expecting the worst. Well if your curious I lost NOTHING. Nope, not a single ounce. BUT I also didn’t gain, So I thought what the hell, I enjoy the way it makes me feel so lets buy another 7 day box and try it again. Mean while I never bothered to measure myself, since I didn’t think it was necessary, but I did take pictures. And Pictures don’t lie. See for yourself 😉
Not to much of a change, but still some. Now at this point I’m thinking to myself, how the hell did I pee about 2 gallons a day, no weightloss, yet look smaller in pictures? Water weight? I think not.
Week 2 – 3:
Weeks 2 through 3 were pretty much the same. Firstly, I decided I wanted to focus on eating healthier, and making better choices. I downloaded the My Fitness Pal app on my phone. This has been a HUGE help for me. It helps you count calories, along with other nutritional needs. You can input what you eat, and even scan the barcode. I highly recommend everyone download this app and use it. It is available on Android and iPhone devices. Secondly I set myself a goal to walk at least 1 mile a day at the local track. Some days I made it, some days I didn’t at thats OK. I was off of my feet, and doing more than I did in a long time. At the end of week 2 I reluctantly stepped onto that scale. If you guessed that I didn’t loose anything, then you guessed right! I was starting to get so frustrated! Why was the scale not moving? I feel better, I feel somewhat smaller, yet the scale never moved. As frustrated as I was I did NOT give up. I took pictures and was pleased at what I was seeing. The end of Week 3 rolled around, and once again I was faced with having to step on that demon scale. To my surprise I was down 1 pound! A whole pound! Can you believe it? (Note: Im being highly sarcastic) Yes, while I realize losing a pound is indeed a good thing, It wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. Nonetheless I took my photos and noticed a HUGE difference. See for your self 🙂
(Sorry for the crappy photos, as these all of these before and afters were taken on my phone)
Ok, so here we are 3 weeks later, 1 pound gone and quite a noticeable difference in photographs. This can mean only one thing. TruVision was definitely attacking the fat cells and not making me drop my water weight. As some of you may know that muscle weighs more than fat. So I am assuming that while my fat cells were shrinking, my muscles were not going anywhere, or at the very best growing. So, I decided to start measuring myself. I can’t wait to update you guys in the next 3 weeks with my results. If you are interested in this product, but have questions please feel free to use the contact tab above and email me. I decided to sign up to sell Truvision, not because I want to make money selling to others, but because I wanted to get them cheaper for myself. So, if you so choose to look at the website you can do so on my personal Truvision website by clicking here, or going to www.truvisionhealth.com. I do not want you to feel that my opinions are biased, and I just want to make some money off of you. That is completely not true. I hope to aspire you to make better life choices, and become a better YOU. Until next time lovelies!
I figured I would give you some clothed photos of myself at the end of week 3 for those of you who may have vomited in your mouth looking at my before and afters above. hehe jk… no seriously. BTW ignore my fur baby, he was smelling my neighbors dog on my pants. lol
